Frequently asked questions
Is it compatible with my Thinkpad X1 Carbon model 3444-25U?
Yes, this keyboard is fully compatible with the entire series of Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 1st Generation models, including variants such as 3444, 3448, and 3460. To ensure 100% compatibility, we recommend verifying that the part number of your current keyboard (04Y0811, 04X3626, or 04X0471) matches those on this product page.
Is the installation complicated since it's frameless?
Installing a frameless keyboard requires more precision than one with a frame, as it involves disassembling the keyboard from the top case (palmrest), which is often done by removing small plastic rivets. It is recommended that installation be performed by qualified technical personnel to avoid damage to the equipment. Precision tools and patience are required.
Do you confirm it has the Ñ key and is backlit?
Yes, we confirm both features. The keyboard has the QWERTY layout in Spanish, which includes the 'Ñ' key and all the specific symbols of the language. Additionally, it features a backlight function for use in low-light conditions, an essential characteristic of the Thinkpad X1 Carbon range.
What is the warranty and how can I return it if it's not compatible?
The keyboard has a 3-year warranty for private customers and 1 year for professionals. If the product is not compatible or you simply change your mind, you have 14 days to return it. You can arrange the return shipment yourself or request a home pickup for 8.90 € in Spain and Portugal, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
How long does it take for the keyboard to arrive if I order it today?
All our shipments are made from Spain. If you place your order before 16:00 (Fridays, 15:00) on a working day, it will be prepared on the same day. Delivery in Spain and Portugal takes between 24 and 48 working hours. For other EU destinations, the timeframe may vary between 2 and 5 working days.
