Lightning Cables

Lightning Cables for iPhone, iPad and AirPods

The Lightning connector is still on millions of Apple devices in use: iPhone up to model 14, classic iPad, AirPods, Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard and more. A reliable spare cable is essentially mandatory.

USB-A or USB-C: which one?

  • USB-A → Lightning: compatible with most old chargers and car/strip USB ports. Apple standard 2.4A charging.
  • USB-C → Lightning (MFi Certified): uses Power Delivery for real iPhone fast charging (50% in 30 minutes). Requires a compatible USB-C PD charger.

What does MFi mean?

MFi (Made for iPhone/iPad) is Apple's official certification. Only MFi cables are authorized for Apple devices without the iPhone showing "this accessory may not be supported" or throttling charging speed.
