Product description
This replacement keyboard with reference 5CB0U42735 is specifically designed for Lenovo Legion series laptops, guaranteeing identical compatibility and functionality to the original. It features a QWERTY Spanish layout, including the Ñ key, making it ideal for replacing damaged keyboards or changing the language configuration of an imported device.
One of its key features is the backlight, which facilitates its use in low-light conditions. Being a frameless (No Frame) model, it integrates directly into the laptop's top case, so it is crucial to verify that the device does not require a keyboard with a built-in frame. It is a new component, ready to be installed by a technical service or an experienced user in repairs.
Before making the purchase, it is essential to compare the product photograph with your original keyboard. Verify the screw positions, the flex cable connector, and the general shape to ensure 100% compatibility. This step is essential to avoid errors, especially in laptop models with multiple keyboard variants.
The installation of a frameless keyboard is usually of medium to high difficulty. It often requires completely disassembling the laptop and detaching the old keyboard, which may be held by plastic rivets. It is recommended that the installation be performed by a qualified technician to avoid damage to the equipment.
Who is this product for?
For technical services and individual users who need to replace the keyboard of a Lenovo Legion Y540 or Y7000 laptop due to failure, wear, or language change.
Ideal for
- Replacement of a defective keyboard in a Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH.
- Changing a foreign language keyboard to Spanish on a Y7000P.

Frequently asked questions
Is this keyboard compatible with my Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH model 81SX?
Yes, this keyboard is fully compatible with the Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH (81SX) model. For complete assurance, we recommend verifying that the part number of your original keyboard matches 5CB0U42735 or 5CB0U42728 and that its design is frameless.

The installation of a frameless keyboard is of medium-to-high difficulty. It generally requires disassembling the laptop and detaching the old keyboard, which may be fixed with plastic rivets. It is recommended that it be performed by a qualified technician or an experienced user to avoid damage.
