The screen comes without brackets, how do I install it in my laptop?
This panel has a 'slim without brackets' design, which is standard in many modern laptops. You will need to carefully remove the side metal anchors or brackets from your original screen (they are usually glued or held with small screws) and transfer them to this new screen before mounting it in the laptop casing.
What does it mean to be IPS and why is it better than a standard TN screen?
IPS (In-Plane Switching) is a panel technology that offers much more accurate and consistent color reproduction, as well as very wide viewing angles (almost 180º) without colors distorting. A standard TN screen, on the other hand, has less vibrant colors, and these change noticeably if you don't look at it straight on.
