Yes, in most cases you can upgrade your TN panel to this IPS panel as long as the size (15.6"), resolution (FHD), connector type (30-pin EDP), and mounting (without brackets) match. This upgrade will provide much more accurate colors and better viewing angles. It is a very common upgrade in repairs.
What tools do I need to change the screen?
Generally, you will need a set of precision screwdrivers and a plastic opening tool (spudger) to avoid damaging the laptop bezels. The process involves removing the screen bezel, disconnecting the battery, unscrewing the old screen, disconnecting its video cable, and performing the reverse process with the new one. This product has a 3-year warranty for private customers and 1 year for professionals. If the screen is not compatible or you simply change your mind, you have 14 days to return it. Collection is free in Spain and Portugal; for other countries, the customer assumes the return shipping costs.
