Frequently asked questions
Is this screen compatible if my original panel has a different part number but the same characteristics (15.6", FHD, 40 pins, 144Hz)?
Yes, it is very likely to be compatible. Many manufacturers (AUO, LG, Samsung, Innolux) produce panels with the same specifications that are interchangeable. The most important thing is that the size (15.6"), resolution (1920x1080), connector type (40-pin eDP), and its position match. This B156HAN08.0 HW0A screen is a direct replacement for other panels with these characteristics.
How can I be sure this is the correct screen for my laptop?
The safest way is to disassemble the damaged screen and check the part number (reference) printed on a label on the back. If it matches B156HAN08.0 HW0A or if the key specifications (size, resolution, 40-pin connector) are identical, compatibility is practically guaranteed. Do not rely solely on your laptop model, as it may use different types of screens.
What tools do I need to change the screen, and is it a difficult process?
Generally, you will need a precision screwdriver (Phillips #0 or #00 type), a plastic pick, or a thin opening tool to separate the bezels without damaging them. The process varies depending on the laptop, but it is usually not complex for someone with patience. It is crucial to disconnect the battery before starting. You can consult the video tutorial on this product page for a visual guide to the process.
What is the warranty, and how do returns work if it doesn't fit?
The product has a 3-year warranty for private customers (1 year for professionals). If the screen is not compatible or you simply change your mind, you have 14 days to return it from the date you receive it. Return collection is free in Spain and Portugal; for other countries, the customer manages the return shipment.
How long does it take to arrive in Barcelona if I order it today?
All our shipments are made from our warehouse in Spain. If you place your order before 16:00 (Fridays, 15:00) on a working day, it will be prepared the same day. For any point in peninsular Spain, such as Barcelona, the delivery time is 24 to 48 working hours, so you would receive it in 1 or 2 days.
