Frequently asked questions
How can I tell if this screen is compatible with my laptop?
The safest way is to remove your original screen and check the part number on the back label. If it matches B156HAN08.2 HW0A, it is compatible. Also, verify that your current screen is also 15.6 inches, FullHD resolution, and uses a 40-pin connector located in the same position (bottom right).
What real advantage does a 144Hz screen offer over a 60Hz one?
A 144Hz screen updates the image 144 times per second, compared to 60 for a standard panel. This results in much smoother and sharper motion, reducing motion blur. It is a very noticeable improvement in fast-paced video games and when scrolling through web content or documents.
Is this screen difficult to install? Do I need special tools?
The difficulty varies depending on the laptop model. Generally, you will need a precision screwdriver (Phillips #0 or #1 type) and a plastic pick or thin spudger to open the bezel without damaging it. We recommend following a specific guide for your laptop model and watching our general installation video to familiarize yourself with the process.
