As it is a complete component, it includes the LCD panel with 2560x1600 resolution, the glass, the housing, the FaceTime HD camera and the light and proximity sensors. Its construction with reinforced hinges and high-resistance flex cable prevents common failures such as 'Flexgate', ensuring greater durability. It is a new product, tested and ready to be assembled, guaranteeing a perfect fit and impeccable visual performance.
IMPORTANT: This screen is not compatible with 2020 models (A2251 / A2289) or with models with Apple M1 processor (A2338). Check your model before buying.
Crucial Installation Notes: 1. Battery Disconnection: It is mandatory to disconnect the battery from the motherboard before starting the installation. Connecting the new screen with the battery on can cause a short circuit and permanently damage the backlight circuit of the motherboard. 2. Model Verification: This screen is specific to the 2 and 4 Thunderbolt port models from 2018/2019 (A1989/A2159). If you try to install it on 2020 models, the camera and sleep sensor will not work.
