This screen uses the standard magnetic sleep sensor system. It does not include the Lid Angle Sensor chip introduced in the 2020 models. COMPATIBILITY WARNING: This replacement IS NOT COMPATIBLE with A2251 or A2289 models from 2020. Although the connector is physically the same, the pin configuration of the camera and the closing sensor are different, which will cause the screen not to display an image or not to enter sleep mode in the 2020 models.
