Frequently asked questions

Can I install this 144Hz screen if my laptop came with a 60Hz one?

Technically it is possible in some models, but not guaranteed. Compatibility depends on the video cable (flex) and your laptop's graphics card. You must ensure that your equipment supports a 144Hz signal through a 40-pin connector. We recommend consulting specialized forums or your laptop model's specifications to confirm the feasibility of the upgrade.

What is the difference between an IPS and a TN screen?

The IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology of this screen offers much more accurate color reproduction and superior viewing angles (up to 178º) without color distortion. TN (Twisted Nematic) screens are older and, although they can have fast response times, their colors are less vibrant and change when viewing the screen from the side, top, or bottom.

What tools do I need to change the screen?

Generally, you will need a set of precision screwdrivers (Phillips #00 or #0 type), a plastic pick or a thin opening tool (spudger) to separate the plastic bezels without damaging them, and possibly fine tweezers. It is essential to work in a clean area and disconnect the laptop battery before starting the repair.

What warranty does the panel have and how does the return work?

This product has a 3-year warranty for private customers and 1 year for professionals. If the product is not compatible or you simply change your mind, you have 14 days to return it. Collection is free in Spain and Portugal; for other countries, the customer assumes the cost of return shipping.

How long does shipping to Madrid take?

All our shipments are made from our warehouse in Spain. For destinations in the peninsula (including Madrid) and Portugal, the delivery time is 24 to 48 business hours if you place your order before 16:00 (Fridays, 15:00). For other European destinations, delivery times vary between 2 and 5 business days.
